Esbo
ESBO (Epoxidized Soybean Oil) is a biodegradable, non-toxic plasticizer and stabilizer derived from soybean oil through an epoxidation process that converts carbon–carbon double bonds into reactive epoxy groups. It is widely used in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) formulations as a secondary plasticizer and heat stabilizer, where it improves flexibility, enhances thermal stability, and increases resistance to degradation caused by heat and ultraviolet light. ESBO also acts as an acid scavenger, absorbing hydrogen chloride released during PVC processing, thereby extending the lifespan and performance of finished products.
Evamol
Evamol is a specialized plasticizer and processing aid used in polymer and plastic manufacturing, particularly in PVC formulations. It helps improve the flexibility, softness, and workability of plastic materials while also enhancing their processing characteristics. Evamol acts by reducing the intermolecular forces between polymer chains, allowing the material to become more flexible and easier to mold or shape during production. It also contributes to improved thermal stability and compatibility with other additives used in plastic formulations. Due to these properties, Evamol is commonly used in the production of flexible PVC products such as cables, films, synthetic leather, and coated fabrics where good flexibility and processing performance are required.
